One of my good friend had her 3 years old daughter's birthday party at Build a Bear (Memorial City Mall) on a Saturday during the Memorial weekend. 40 kids. When she book this party event, she specifically ask the Manager if parents can upgrade the teddy if their child did not want it. The Manager said,"YES". We did bring birthday treats with us and ate them outside the store after our party was over. If you are having a party at a mall with a food court, that would be a great option (though none of the kids minded sitting on the floor outside the store for their treats!).
